Best Gadgets from CES 2025 that I Have Been Loving (So Far)

From January 7 to January 10, I was at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, and it was wonderful. Manufacturers showcased their latest innovations and provided the timeline for the actual launch of these products. It’s been a while, and many of these products have already been launched. I have been using them for a significant time, and I can safely talk about them, so let me.

  • Pro Tech Go Toolkit from iFixit

If you have that JerryRigEverything DNA in you and you love tearing down things, either to actually tear them for fun or to fix them, you are going to absolutely adore this Pro Tech Go Toolkit from iFixit.

Previously, iFixit only had a big chunkier toolkit that contained about 64 different tools, most of which were sparingly used by the users. So, iFixit did their research and found the most-used tools in their 64-bit toolkit. The next thing was that they assembled them all together and introduced the go toolkit, perfect for most people.

It contains everything from a tri-point to a precision bit driver that comes with a SIM eject tool. It was one of the most boring yet most useful things I saw at the CES 2025.

  • OnePlus 13 (256GB) Android Smartphone

I think that was the best gadget from the CES 2025.

I love this phone. In fact, it has been my daily driver for over a month and I freakin’ love it. Why? Let me explain.

Starting with the specs, it is powered by the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, at least 12 gigs of RAM, and fastest UFS 4.0 storage. As for the camera specs, it has triple camera lenses at the back – one 50MP main shooter, one 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens.

Display-wise, it has a 6.82-inch LTPO display that has above 90% screen-to-body ratio and 1440p resolution. The front and back are glass that is protected by Gorilla Glass.

Leaving specs aside, let me walk you through its real-life test. It is a performance beast, and you cannot take that away from it. I have been playing heavy multiplayer games on it while being connected to my high-speed Xfinity home WiFi that offers affordable internet plans, and network reliability. The result? This phone doesn’t break a sweat and handles games and multitasking like a breeze.

Apart from playing games, I have tested it by editing videos on it, and it works just fine.

As for the camera, it is good, not great. OnePlus hasn’t been supreme in the camera department, but the OnePlus 13 improves over the OnePlus 12.

At CES 2025, OnePlus not only released the OnePlus 13, but they also released the OnePlus 13R. OnePlus 13R is another master of performance, but it lacks the luxury features of the OnePlus 13.

It doesn’t have that much of a premium build. Also, it is missing the wireless charging of the OnePlus 13. But still, it checks most of the fundamental boxes of a great Android phone.

  • Apple’s Nimble Fold 3-in-1 Travel Charger

Are you hardcore Apple fan who just adores Apple ecosystem? This is one of those things you should add into your Apple ecosystem.

Whether it is your Apple watch, AirPods, or your iPhone, you can use this 3-in-1 Nimble charger from Apple to charge all three of them at the same time. Isn’t that cool?!

You don’t need to find a Type-C charger for your iPhone 16, and a separate magnetic charger for your watch. This nimble charger can charge everything.

Plus, it has a portable size that not only looks stunning but gets packed into a small brick that you can take anywhere. It supports Qi wireless charging which is safe and charges your devices pretty quickly. Not to forget, this is a MagSafe-compatible charger, so you won’t have to take off the MagSafe from your iPhone.

  • Halliday AI Smart Glasses

Halliday started shipping in March, and I was lucky enough to get my hands on these in March.

These are one of the smartest yet weirdest glasses you can get. It has a tiny display in the upper right corner of the glass that projects information directly onto your eyeballs.

You might wonder what information? It is powered by AI, so it can detect a pattern in your routine. If you are commuting to some place, it can display map information right onto your screen. It can also summarize text on your screen.

One of the best features I like about these glasses is the ring that comes with them. That ring eliminates the weird gestures, and you can control the watch with mere hands. It does sound cool, but it is not as practical as you might think.

There were tons of gadgets that were displayed at the CES 2025, but the ones I mentioned caught my attention. I used them and found them useful. Did you find any such cool gadgets from the CES 2025? Let us know in the comments!
